2015 High Country Charity Golf Outing
On Saturday August 15th we participated in the 5th Annual High Country Charity Golf Outing benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. We were excited to be part of this great event while playing with our good friends Dan and Cindy Smith. It was a beautiful day at Pinewood Country Club in Munds Park, AZ with 150 golfers and many volunteers and local supporters out for this great cause. This year the High Country Charity Golf Outing raised over $100,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project!

Final Round - Cedar Rapids Open
On Saturday, the first tee times started with the few golfers that needed to finish their second round. Then the final round started with 58 professional players golfing in the hot and humid weather. Tim teed off at 9:40 this morning. He shot 71 with a final placement of T30 and overall score of -1.
This week Tim stayed in Oelwein, IA with BJ's family Paul and Dorothy Grey. This is the same town where his golf instructor Tim Mahoney grew up. Tim sends a big thank you to BJ for carrying his bag for the event. He also wants to thank Paul and Dorothy for the great hospitality this week and for coming to watch his last round at Hunters Ridge Golf Course.
Tim will be heading back to AZ next week and I will be happy to see him since he's been gone for a month! The next event that we will be playing in is the Wounded Warriors Benefit in Munds Park, AZ in August.

Day 2 - Cedar Rapids Open
On Friday July 24th, Tim played his second round in the Cedar Rapids Open. He shot a 71 and he is currently T41. A rain delay pushed back the tee times in the afternoon causing a few groups to finish their second round on Saturday morning. Tim's placement will most likely give him a spot to play in the final round on Saturday. He will aim to shot low so he can move up the leaderboard.
